Gazprom puts gasification costs at 578 bln rbl until 2023

ST.PETERSBURG, Jul 16 (PRIME) -- The costs of gasifying of about 4 million households will amount to about 578 billion rubles until 2023, CEO of Gazprom's affiliate Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergei Gustov said on Friday.

"(In the framework of the current gas availability program), 2.1 million households are located 200 meters off the existing gas distribution networks. Investment of 310 billion rubles is needed to start gas deliveries to them… Speaking about all houses… there are about 4 million of them and the price of connection stands at 578 billion rubles," Gustov said.

The government pledges accelerated gas supply start to about 36,000 towns by 2023.
